Veteran State Lawmaker Sees Wide-Open Race For Congress In 13th District

There’s no actual incumbent running in Michigan’s 13th Congressional district during the August 7th primary. The legislature re-drew congressional boundaries after the last census and the new 13th now stretches from Detroit to Romulus. Long-time Congressman John Conyers is running in that district, but so is veteran state lawmaker Glenn Anderson.
