Unon Sees No End To Detroit Bus Slowdown

Weeks after the Detroit City Council heard from members of the public outraged that people often had to wait hours for a city bus – the union in charge of bus mechanics says little has changed. In fact the head of that union – Leamon Wilson – tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter that he’s met with a Bing Administration official only twice since then, and was told the union should blame Council for cutting the number of workers who keep “D-DOT” buses on the road.
