Union Lawyers Say Detroit Not Broke Enough To Go Bankrupt

In about a week a federal judge will hold a hearing to determine if Detroit is eligible for the largest municipal bankruptcy in the nation’s history. Creditors and unions representing retired city workers will argue against the bankruptcy filing. One of those representatives is AFSCME Council 25 General Counsel Herb Sanders.
