State Seeks Legal Remedies To Allow Consent Agreement

The state of Michigan will seek a stay of an Ingham County Judge’s order which in effect prevents the state from reaching a consent agreement with the city of Detroit before a deadline set by Governor Snyder. The move comes as state officials say they can no longer wait for Detroit officials to deliver their own version of a consent agreement.
