Sports Illustrated Predicts Lions Will Miss Playoffs

August 30, 2012 The Detroit Lions face the Buffalo Bills at Ford Field tonight in the final pre-season tune-up for the team. When the regular season begins, Sports Illustrated predicts the Lions will fall just short of returning to the playoffs. The man making that prediction is one of the most respected journalists currently covering the NFL – Peter King. He tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter that despite his forecast he is impressed with the Lions – especially kicker Jason Hanson, who now holds the record for the most seasons with one team in NFL history…
