Some Detroit Parents Concerned About Possible Strike By Teachers

Public school teachers in Detroit have a new contract – one they didn’t bargain for and didn’t sign. The state-appointed official in charge of the district imposed a new collective bargaining agreement. Now, two months before the start of the school year, the teacher’s union will not rule out going on strike. And that’s making some parents in Detroit nervous.
