Health Reform Debate Impacting Presidential Race In Michigan

The U.S. Supreme Court is preparing to rule on whether President Obama’s signature legislative achievement – the Affordable Care Act reforming the nation’s health care system – is constitutional. As the High Court ruling looms ever closer, its shadow is falling over the presidential campaign across the nation – and here in Michigan. Presumed Republican nominee Mitt Romney vowed to repeal it during campaign stops here this week. And the Obama Administration’s top health official was in Detroit to announce funding from the health care reform would help the city provide medical care. WDET’s Travis Wright talked the situation with WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter.
