HIV/ AIDS Awareness

Today marks the 12th year for national Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. Organizations all over the country will offer testing…education treatment and involvement to African Americans. Doctor Dana Rice is an assistant professor at Wayne State University. She’s working to promote H-I-V testing in the African American community and has just been awarded a 166-thousand dollar grant to continue her work.
