Business leaders from across the state are in Detroit to take part in the Governor’s first Economic Summit. A large portion of the conference focuses on the needs of businesses in ten new economic regions developed by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Michael Finney is the President and CEO of the M-E-D-C. He tells WDET’s J-Carlisle Larsen that bringing businesses and talent together is a major focus of his organization.
