Detroit Police Say Precincts Will Stay Open

Detroit’s police chief is disputing recent reports that the city plans to shut down police precincts at four in the afternoon. Instead Chief Ralph Godbee says much of the work that used to be done by precinct staff in the evening will now be done over the telephone and online. WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter was at a news conference with the Police chief and talked about the situation with WDET’s Travis Wright.
