Detroit Police Neighborhood Initiative Targets Theft

Detroit Police are joining with experts in criminology to create a new initiative targeting burglaries in the city’s Grandmont Rosedale area. The approach may be expanded throughout the city. WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter talked about it with one of the chief architects of the initiative – former Rutgers University professor and a fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government – George Kelling.
