Officials with the Penske Corporation say they are in the final stages of completing an agreement to again stage the Detroit Grand Prix auto race on Belle Isle. The race was cancelled in 2009 because of economic concerns. WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter talked with the Penske official in charge of the Grand Prix – Bud Denker – who says brining motor racing back to the Motor City island is almost a done deal.
