Detroit City Council member Kwame Kenyatta said today there would be organized resistance to any state takeover of the city’s finances. At a Council meeting Kenyatta said even street gangs fight for their territory, and others there urged Detroiters to stock pile bottled water and supplies because they planned to shut down the freeways and the city’s economic system.
