Detroit Council Considers Tax For Additional Police

The Detroit City Council is scheduled to debate a proposed millage to pay for additional police officers. Detroit police officials are pushing Council to approve the millage. But WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter talked with a former member of the force – Detroit City Council President Pro Tem Gary Brown – who says the last thing residents in already heavily-taxed Detroit need is another tax.
