Detroit City Council Blasts Proposed Belle Isle Lease

The Detroit City Council is blasting a proposal for the state to lease Belle Isle. Detroit Mayor Dave Bing and Governor Rick Snyder announced the plan recently. But Council must approve the deal – and members say they have received very few specifics about the lease arrangement. WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter talked about the proposal with Council Member Ken Cockrel Jr.
