When Michigan Congressman John Dingell retires in December Detroit Democrat John Conyers will become the longest-serving member in the U-S House. He’s also the Dean of the Congressional Black Caucus. Political observers say despite a recent turn-over in Congress the Congressional Black Caucus has become a bastion of incumbency. WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter talked about it with a journalist who’s investigated the situation – Politico reporter John Bresnahan.
