Bing To Order Payless Days-Off To Keep Detroit From Going Broke

Detroit Mayor Dave Bing says the city faces a $30 million budget shortfall in December in large part because the City Council rejected a contract the state required before it would release bond monies to the city. So the Mayor says to keep Detroit from going broke he is going to save money by ordering city workers to forego some paychecks.
