GOP Opens Detroit Office

Friday, December 6, 2013

The Republican Party is opening an office in Detroit on Friday. The goal of the new office, located on Livernois Avenue near Seven Mile, is to better engage the city’s African-American community. Bob Schostak is the Chair of the Michigan Republican Party. He spoke with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn about the initiative.

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul will attend the opening of the office Friday morning. He’s scheduled to speak at the Detroit Economic Club later in the day.
