A License to Spy? ACLU Says You Are Being Tracked.

Chances are your license plate has been scanned electronically as you drive around. There are thousands of scanners across the country. Some are on buildings, some on bridges, and all are designed to capture images of passing or parked vehicles. Police say those images provide an essential weapon in fighting crime, and even terrorism. But is it a violation of your privacy? Shelli Weisberg is the Legislative Director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan. WDET's Pat Batcheller asked her what the ACLU's main concerns are about digital license scanners.
