Renowned composer John Williams will appear at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra this summer. Williams will serve as guest conductor for a special benefit concert on June 14th. Symphony-goers may expect to hear scores from “Jaws” and the “Indiana Jones” series.

Director Steven Spielberg will join Williams at the benefit to discuss their careers. Spielberg and Williams have collaborated on films such as “Star Wars” and “E-T The Extraterrestrial”.

The DSO says film footage from Spielberg will accompany the live performance. Tickets for the benefit concert go on sale April 14th.
