President Points To Detroit Business Leaders In SOTU

Two Detroit area business leaders sat with First Lady Michelle Obama during the president’s State of the Union speech Tuesday night. President Obama mentioned General Motors CEO Mary Barra and Detroit Manufacturing Systems founder Andra Rush by name during the address to Congress. He explained how Rush took advantage of an American Job Center to hire more than 600 workers at a new facility in Detroit.
