Winter Can Put Road Budgets on Slippery Slope

Snow emergencies have been declared in several cities and townships, especially in Wayne County, where up to seven inches of snow has fallen since New Year’s Day. Plows and salt trucks have been out for two days trying to make driving conditions safer. Cindy Dingell is the deputy chief operating officer for Wayne County’s Department of Public Services.
