The 41st Annual Noel Night will take place on Saturday, December 7th, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in Detroit’s Midtown District. Over 70 institutions, including the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Michigan Science Museum, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, the Detroit Historical Museum, the Detroit Public Library, and new venues like Whole Foods and Shinola will open their doors to the public free of charge during this Cultural Center-wide holiday open house.

Activities include horse-drawn carriage rides, holiday shopping, family craft activities and performances by over 200 area music, theatre, and dance groups, with special performances by: William Close and the Earth Harp Collective, Martha Redbone, Lily and Madeleine, The California Guitar Trio + The Montreal Guitar Trio, and the Marionetas de la Esquina. The evening’s festivities culminate with a community sing-along on Woodward Avenue led by the Salvation Army Band—a long-standing Noel Night tradition.

Stop by the WDET studios to meet our hosts, share your holiday wishes for Detroit and warm up with a cup of cocoa!

A free shuttle service is offered between participating venues. Convenient parking is available in area lots.
